Dr Danielle Bolger

Danielle graduated from Griffith University in 2011 with a bachelor of Oral Health (Dental Science), Graduate Diploma of Dentistry, and was honoured as a member of the Golden Key for her academic achievements.

After working as a dentist in Brisbane for many years, she was frustrated with the move to put profits above patient care with many surgeries run by large corporations now dominating the industry. She wanted to take a different approach.

In 2018 Danielle founded Smile Design Dental because she wanted to bring patient care back to the heart of dental services.

Danielle is focused on providing her patients with a high quality and professional service in a friendly and comfortable environment. It’s about delivering exceptional care, clear communication, and giving patients ample information and autonomy to choose options that are best suited for them.

Her expertise extends across a wide range of dental services. She has seen it all from minor issues including fillings and chipped teeth to major work such as wisdom teeth removal, severe tooth decay and gum disease. Danielle has a particular interest and experience in oral surgery, clear aligners and injectables, with a great focus in creating the ideal smile package.

She likes to paint in her free time, from oil on canvas to fine painting on miniature models. She loves to read and write, having published a paranormal thriller of her own, playing board games with friends and video games at home, and is always looking out for new adventures and challenges to embark on in the future.

Dr Clint Hazell

Dr. Clint takes great pride in his work and is dedicated to building meaningful relationships with his patients.

He empowers individuals to improve their oral health, leading to enhanced overall well-being and increased confidence.

Bringing a wealth of experience in a wide range of dental treatments, including restorations, root canal therapy, crown prosthetics, wisdom tooth extractions, implant restorations, anterior dentistry, and pediatric care.

Driven by a keen interest in leveraging cutting-edge technology, he delivers exceptional results. He actively participates in courses and conferences to stay updated on the latest techniques and advancements in the field.

Bree Collins

Practice Manager

Bree was born in Brisbane and has always called Brisbane home. She has worked in the beauty industry since 2008 and in moved over to dentistry in 2023, bringing strong organisational skills and a high customer service standard. Honing her skills in dentistry, she is undertaking her Certificate III in Dental Assisting with AADA.
She enjoys liaising with patients in the planning of their treatments, and assisting them with any non-medical aspects throughout the journey to their new smile.
Outside of work, Bree can be found getting outdoors or relaxing at home with her two cats.

Carlos Garcia Salas

Senior Dental Assistant

Carlos is originally from Venezuela and has been living in Australia since 2015.
He is fluent in both English and Spanish. His dental journey started in
2017 and soon completed a Certificate III in Dental Assisting in 2018. Carlos has
experience assisting in general, cosmetic and paediatric dentistry.
What Carlos finds most enjoyable about his job is to follow the progress of
patients regarding their oral health, hygiene and overcoming their fear of
dentists. He also enjoys listening to patients and their stories.
Outside of dentistry and his studies Carlos enjoys going to the gym,
watching anime and reading non-fiction.

Hailey Olive

Dental Assistant

Hailey was born in Brisbane, travelled and lived all over Australia, then has returned home to Brisbane. Hailey has a background of nursing and pathology, and is currently studying a certificate III in dental assisting. She loves to help patients feel at ease. Her favourite part of dental assisting is helping patients with anxiety feel calm. In Hailey’s spare time she loves to roller skate and bake yummy treats with her two children.
